Out with the old, in with the newNow, to the vast majority of all you out there on the interweb this means absolutely nothing, but I will still tell you why.
Last Friday, I had the chance to meet and talk to several alumni from AIC who now work as concept artists at Idol Minds and Net Devil. They were great! (plus, I got to meet one of my favorite artists.)
So anyway, I got to thinking over the weekend and came to the realization that I really haven't done enough art that would make employers take a second look at me, so therefore I am taking a quarter off to build a better flat art portfolio. This means I will be doing Life drawings, digital paintings, concept drawings, what have you.
